The Downtown Residents Council has arranged a special guided tour of Isaac M. Wise Temple — commonly known as the Plum Street Temple — one of the architectural crown jewels of our urban core. Completed in 1866, the temple was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. It was later designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975 for its remarkable architecture and its role in the development of Reform Judaism in the United States.
All DRC members are welcome, and we encourage you to join if your schedule allows. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow members while experiencing one of downtown’s most remarkable landmarks—many Cincinnatians have never had the chance to see inside.
Please let us know of questions. We hope to see many of you there!
Thanks,
Andrew Naab President, Downtown Residents Council
